Governing Council

Our Governing Council is the body from which the highest decisions are adopted and works with the Organization in the alignment of the activity within the framework of public administration in which we operate.

President

The competent Councilor of the Department to which the Institute is attached or the Director General to whom he/she may delegate

Vice President

The Councilor of the Department responsible for industry, or the General Director delegated by him or her

Vowels

  • The Director of the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón, as ex officio member.
  • Two representatives of the Department to which the Institute is attached.
  • A representative of the Department responsible for economic matters.
  • A representative of the Department responsible for industry.
  • Two representatives appointed by the University of Zaragoza.
  • One representative designated by the Research and Development Advisory Council or equivalent body.
  • A representative of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas designated by its President or Director.
  • Two representatives of the industrial sectors appointed by the most representative business associations of Aragon.
  • Two workers’ representatives appointed by the most representative labor unions in Aragón.

Secretary of the Governing Council

With voice but without vote, a member of the Institute’s staff designated by the President.
